Sterling Silver Kona Dolomite Pendant

This beautiful genuine Petoskey Stone pendant is a stand alone piece! If you've never seen a polished Kona Dolomite Stone, they are nothing like you've ever seen! This stone was named after the Kona Hills, south of Marquette County. Kona Dolomite is between 2.1-2.2 billion years old and has formations of fossil stromatolite(algae) throughout the stone. Due to age, and the many minerals this stone is composed of, Kona Dolomite can vary in colors from pinks, browns, yellows, creams, reds, to oranges with gray and black banding and lacing! This piece is pinker in color and really remind me of a pink camo print!! This pendant is completely natural, nothing has been added to this stone to give it the shine it has! It's about 37mm from the top of the clasp to the bottom of the stone and is about 18mm at it's widest point. You may purchase this Pendant by itself, or with a stamped sterling silver chain. This stone has been hand polished to the point that light reflects off the surface and has been set with a sterling silver clasp! It's an absolute must see!
